Handmade Item Disclaimer

Handmade Variation Notice

Every Malibu Angel piece is handmade to order, making each item unique. Minor differences from product photos — including slight variations in lace placement, ribbon finish, stitching detail, or overall construction — are expected and are not considered defects. These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and are not grounds for a return, exchange, or refund.

Material Substitution Clause

In rare cases, we may substitute materials of equal or greater quality — such as a similar lace pattern or ribbon shade — if the original material becomes unavailable. Any substitution will maintain the overall aesthetic of the product. Material substitutions are not grounds for a return, refund, or exchange.

Color Variation Disclaimer

Colors displayed on our website may appear slightly different depending on your screen, monitor settings, and lighting. Actual product colors may vary slightly from what is shown in photos. Color variation is not considered a defect and is not grounds for a return or refund.

Chargeback Policy

Due to our made-to-order production process, any chargeback or payment dispute initiated within 7 weeks of the original order date will be automatically contested and disputed. By placing an order with Malibu Angel, you acknowledge and agree to our production timeline and this policy.

Cancellations

We do not accept cancellations once an order has been placed. Because production begins shortly after your order is received, we are unable to stop or reverse the process. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Returns & Refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds unless there is a verified issue with your item as outlined below. Please review your order — including size, color, and shipping address — carefully before purchasing.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at malibuangelus@gmail.com with the following:

Photos of the damaged item
Photos of the shipping packaging
Your order number

We will review all claims and issue a refund for verified damage caused during shipping.

Please note: Damage caused by misuse, improper washing, or general wear is not covered under this policy.

Wrong Item Received

If you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at malibuangelus@gmail.com with your order number and photos. We will send you the correct item or issue a full refund.

Exchanges

We do not offer size or color exchanges for any made-to-order items. Please review your size and color selection carefully before placing your order. We are not responsible for incorrect sizes or colors selected at checkout.
